Despite being only 21 the French international Benoit Badiashile has featured for the France national team and his former team Monaco in both the Champions league and the Europa league .
The talented left-footed center back who spent much of his early career at S.C Malesherbes where he played since he was 8 years old.
Benoit then joined Monaco at the age of 15 years because of his extraordinary talent.
At age 15 he couldn’t break through the senior team but showcased his talent in Monaco’s team ‘B’ as he was one of the best performers.
Badiashile was handed his debut in the senior team by one of football’s greatest players Thiery Henry and played against Thiago Silva who was playing for PSG and now his team mate.
Spending five seasons in Ligue 1 and making 135 league appearances for Monaco, he became a player to monitor.
Clubs like P.S.G, Barcelona, Dortmund and many more wanted his signature to boost their defense
Chelsea F.C with the injuries of Reece James, Ben Chilwell and Wesley Fofana had to act fast and capture his signature.
Benoit was very happy after signing for Chelsea and this was what he said ” I’m very happy to be here at Chelsea, I can’t wait to see the fans and start playing in the best league in the world”.
